PARTIES

Teenage parties get a lot of bad press, but they can be an important and positive aspect of your child’s social life and development. There’s no one right way to handle them, but if you’re thorough and keep the lines of communication open, you can help your teenager stay safe – and have fun too.

The basics

As a teen gets older, they will probably want to go to parties with their friends. They might even want to have a party at home. Don’t panic!
Teenage parties are fun, and they can also be a chance for a teen to:
  • develop social skills, independence and confidence
  • expand their friendship group
  • develop their planning skills, ifthey are hosting the party
  • introduce their friends to your family.
It’s normal to feel worried about letting a tenn  go to parties. It might feel particularly concerned if they don’t know the host or how likely it is that alcohol or drugs might be on offer.
Teens might have mixed feelings too such as excitement, nerves, anxiety.
BE CAREFUL FOR WHAT YOU DO

Going to a party

When it comes to teenage parties, they desire to have fun.
The safety part is important too. Whether there’ll be alcohol and whether the party will stay in one place or move somewhere else during the night.

BULLYING

WHAT IS BULLYING?

  • Bullying includes a wide variety of behaviors, but all involve a person or a group repeatedly trying to harm someone who is weaker or more vulnerable.

Bullying can lead teenagers to feel tense, anxious, and afraid. It can affect their concentration in school and can lead them to not go to school because of fear.

Bullies come in all ages, sizes, races, religions, and in both genders.Girls are more likely to bully with words while boys most often with  physical attacks.

  Never suffer in silence

INSECURITY

What is the problem?

We struggle with insecurity. We are ashamed of how we look. This is why we are in the ages  that we are trying to define who we are.

REMEMBER:
"All things were created by him and for him"
(Colossians 1:16).

Insecurity in girls is cause by the change in their hormones, their new relationships, and a body that is growing quickly and this cause a teen feel wierd. Feel different. Why? Through becoming a teen, girls confront problems, like hormones changing a lot. In a moment you may feel happy and 5 minutes later your mood will change!!

MY ADVICES
  1. Think of something good about yourself.
  2. Act as a confident person.
  3. Do not feel that you have to be happy all the time, nobody is like that, but have  REAL emotions.

STOP BEING INSECURE ABOUT YOUSELF! GOD MADE YOU THIS WAY WITH A PURPOSE
